SICMF 2004 :: Call for Works

Categories

1. Tape Music
2. Electroacoustic Music with Instruments (up to 8 players)

4. Audio-Visual Work (VHS, SVHS, or DVD format)

Rules and Regulations

1. All compositions had to be realized after 2002 and should be less than 15 minutes long.
2. All compositions except audio-visual works should be submitted via CD, DAT, ADAT, or DA-88 format.
3. Scores should accompany pieces that require performers. The number of performers is limited to 8 persons.
4. For performers requiring specific traditional instruments, composers are responsible for providing performers on location.
5. Channels for audio playback is limited to 8 channels. ADAT and DA-88 will be provided.
6. Detailed information regarding live electro-acoustic music pieces such as equipment, hardware, software, etc. should be included with submission.
7. Composers must attach a short biography and program note for their composition, each of at most 150 words.
8. Submission must be postmarked no later than April 30, 2004.
9. All submissions including not accepted ones will be kept by KEAMS, unless specific requests are sent with submissions. Composers retain all rights to their compositions. If a member of a copyright association, copyright and royalty issues will be dealt accordingly.

• Decisions on selections will be emailed individually in May, 2004.
