SICMF 2004 :: Call for Works
Categories
- Tape Music
- Electroacoustic Music with Instruments (up to 8 players)
- Live Electroacoustic Music
- Audio-Visual Work (VHS, SVHS, or DVD format)
Rules and Regulations
- All compositions had to be realized after 2002 and should be less than 15 minutes long.
- All compositions except audio-visual works should be submitted via CD, DAT, ADAT, or DA-88 format.
- Scores should accompany pieces that require performers. The number of performers is limited to 8 persons.
- For performers requiring specific traditional instruments, composers are responsible for providing performers on location.
- Channels for audio playback is limited to 8 channels. ADAT and DA-88 will be provided.
- Detailed information regarding live electro-acoustic music pieces such as equipment, hardware, software, etc. should be included with submission.
- Composers must attach a short biography and program note for their composition, each of at most 150 words.
- Submission must be postmarked no later than April 30, 2004.
- All submissions including not accepted ones will be kept by KEAMS, unless specific requests are sent with submissions. Composers retain all rights to their compositions. If a member of a copyright association, copyright and royalty issues will be dealt accordingly.
