It was created in 1982 by James Giroudon & Pierre-Alain Jaffrennou and is since one of the most dynamic places in the landscape of contemporary music in France. In particular, Grame produces the "Biennale Musiques en Scene " which in France is one of three major festivals dedicated to contemporary music. </p>
